Don’t miss the many events happening in the Rhinelander Area throughout the year. Hodag County offers fishing tournaments, music festivals, unique community celebrations, live performances, farmers markets, fall festivals and other one-of-a-kind events happening throughout the year. Popular annual events in the Rhinelander Area include the Hodag Home Show in March, the Art Fair on the Courthouse Lawn in June, the Hodag Country Festival and the Rhinelander School of the Arts in July, the Oneida County Fair in August and the Rhinelander Hodag Musky Challenge in September.

  Join us for the 27th annual Art Fair on the Courthouse Lawn on June 8th.  The event includes over 100 arts and crafts vendors, kids activities, plenty of food and entertainment.  Also downtown that day is a car show, pancake breakfast, and more!  Show hours are from 9am to 3pm.

  We have plenty of room for vendors in the show and we want you to participate!  We just need your application and payment plus a few photos of your items and showing yourself creating them.

• Hodag Block Party

  Downtown Rhinelander

  Mark your calendars for the 2nd Annual Hodag Block Party to be held on Saturday June 29th! We have a fun filled day planned in Rhinelander!  First, lace up your tennis shoes and take part in the Hodag Run for Your Life, hosted by the YMCA of the Northwoods.  Then make your way downtown to Davenport street and join us for the 1st Annual Hodag Block Party!  From 10am to 3pm we’ll be celebrating and having fun with a magic show, live music, carnival games, and plenty of food, drinks and fun!  So come on downtown and join us!  If you have any questions about the event give us a call, 715-365-7464.

  Calling all local artists we need your help for this event!  We are looking for your help in creating a logo!  Anyone under the age of 18 can submit a logo for consideration. We need all submissions by May 30 , 2013 and we’ll announce a winner on June 3, 2013.  Call us with questions and GOOD LUCK!

• Hodag Country Festival

  The 36th Annual Hodag Country Festival will be held on July 11 – July 14, 2013.  Each year this country music festival brings some of the biggest names in country music to the Northwoods.  Tickets are on sale now and you can find more festival information including the full lineup on their website.  Follow the below link.

• W.I.L.D. Hodag Mini-Triathlon

  Saturday, August 24, 2013 – Saturday, August 24, 2013
  8:00am  –  5:00pm
  Holiday Acres Resort

  Make plans to join us for the first annual W.I.L.D. Hodag Mini-Triathlon on Saturday August 24th, 2013.  The race will kick off at 8 AM at Holiday Acres Resort in Rhinelander.  The race includes a 300 yard swim, 10K bike portion and a 5k run.  The course will wind through the gorgeous northwoods scenery of woods and water.  Proceeds from the event will go to benefit W.I.L.D. • 2013 Rhinelander Toyota Hodag Musky Challenge

  We are excited to announce the dates for the 2013 Rhinelander Toyota Hodag Musky Challenge to be held on September 20th – 22nd, 2013.   The event will again be headquartered at the Rhinelander Ice Arena this year.  Our rules meeting will be held on Friday evening at 8pm so make sure you are in attendance.  For a registration brochure click the below link.
