Don’t miss the many events happening in the Rhinelander Area throughout the year. Hodag County offers fishing tournaments, music festivals, unique community celebrations, live performances, farmers markets, fall festivals and other one-of-a-kind events happening throughout the year. Popular annual events in the Rhinelander Area include the Hodag Home Show in March, the Art Fair on the Courthouse Lawn in June, the Hodag Country Festival and the Rhinelander School of the Arts in July, the Oneida County Fair in August and the Rhinelander Hodag Musky Challenge in September.

Hodag Run for Your Life/Hodag Block Party

Davenport Street, Downtown RhinelanderThe YMCA of the Northwoods is excited to host the sixth annual HODAG Run For Your Life 5K/10K run/walk. Pre-registration for the run/walk is $25 and can be completed until June 20th. Participants are guaranteed a race t-shirt if pre-registered! After June 20th registration is $35 and can be completed online at www.active.com until June 28th. Thereafter, registration can be completed by calling the YMCA of the Northwoods at (715) 362-9622.

2012 Rhinelander Toyota Hodag Musky Challenge
Friday, September 7, 2012 – Sunday, September 9, 2012 Rhinelander Ice Arena
5 lake groups to choose from: Wisconsin River and Boom Lake, Lake Julia and Crescent Lake, Moen Chain, Oneida Lake and Lake Hancock, Lake George and Lake Thompson
The Hodag Musky Challenge will be held September 7th-9th 2012. The registration fee for each team will be $250.
Payouts are 67% of registration fees
