Don’t miss the many events happening in the Rhinelander Area throughout the year. Hodag County offers fishing tournaments, music festivals, unique community celebrations, live performances, farmers markets, fall festivals and other one-of-a-kind events happening throughout the year. Popular annual events in the Rhinelander Area include the Hodag Home Show in March, the Art Fair on the Courthouse Lawn in June, the Hodag Country Festival and the Rhinelander School of the Arts in July, the Oneida County Fair in August and the Rhinelander Hodag Musky Challenge in September.

    Head downtown Rhinelander for an afternoon of trick or treating!  Visit the local businesses with pumpkins in the window and have a safe, family, friendly Halloween Afternoon.

    After your trick or treating fun make sure you walk or drive by and see all the pumpkins aglow in the 2nd annual Pumpkin Glow. More than 100 pumpkins (maybe 200) will be lit in the big green space in front of Trigs 5:30-9:00 p.m.

    Help kick off the holiday season with our annual Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting on Black Friday.  The parade will begin at 5pm and run from the Police Department on Brown Street to Stevensport Square.  Following the parade join in for some caroling and then help us light the tree!  Santa will also be available for visiting with the children.

    Join us as we look back on 2014 and celebrate the accomplishments of our members and the Chamber.  We will award Community Volunteer of the Year, Retail Business of the Year, Tourism & Convention Business of the Year, and Business, Professional & Industrial Business of the Year.  Nominations for these awards are now being accepted.

    The evening will also include live entertainment, raffles and a dessert auction.  We are also looking for businesses to decorate the tables.  If you are interested in participating in any of these items please contact the Chamber.

  • 2015 Hodag Home Show

    The Hodag Home Show is the first home show in the Northwoods and you don’t want to miss it!  From construction companies, to plumbing and heating, to financial services and more businesses in the Northwoods will gather for a weekend that will help you line up all you need for your spring and summer projects!

    Make sure to sign up now for your booth space to make sure you have access to thousands of potential customers during the weekend.

    The Hodag Home Show will be held at Rhinelander High School from 10am to 4pm on Saturday and 10am to 3pm on Sunday.

    Join us for the 2015 Hodag Hops and Vines MicroBrew and Wine Tasting.  Sample dozens of craft beer and wine samples, plus taste delicious offerings from Rhinelander area restaurants.  Live music and raffles will also be included in the fun.  Tickets will be available for purchase online -as well as at the door.  Tickets purchased after 5pm Friday April 24th will be $25.  Location will be The Quality Inn in Rhinelander.

    Join us for the 29th annual Art Fair on the Courthouse Lawn.  The event includes over 100 arts and crafts vendors, kids activities, plenty of food and entertainment.

    We have plenty of room for vendors in the show and we want you to participate!  We just need your application and payment plus a few photos of your items and showing yourself creating them.

    Applications will be posted in Spring 2015.

The dash is not timed – it’s more about sharing memories, laughing, and getting colored like a bag of SkittlesThe dash will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Wisconsin, and money raised will fund matches between Northwoods ‘Bigs’ and ‘Littles’!

    So, invite your family and friends to run – or volunteer to be a Dasher Splasher, Registration Jedi, Trash-Cleaning Ninja, or Water-Station Guru!
